Welcome. My name is Tonya Amico and I am owner-operator of Tonya's Tots Day Care in Reading, MA.  My goal in caring for children is to provide them with a safe, loving, nurturing, and comfortable environment. I ensure this by working closely with the parents. My program is structured to give children the consistency they need while providing many opportunities for exploration of the world around them. I have a Pre-School based curriculum which includes different daily activities related to a monthly theme. Click here for some example activities. Concepts such as recognition of numbers, letters, shapes, and colors are taught and reinforced.  I also have computer time once a week, which provides excellent activities for developing problem-solving skills, creativity, hand-eye coordination, listening skills. I also help the children work on developing their social and self-help skills such as sharing, manners, self-control, zippering, self-feeding, and buttoning.
